EIPL contributed to the successful commissioning of a 24 MW waste-to-energy system utilizing rotary kiln gasification to convert RDF and industrial waste into steam and usable energy.
EIPL is proud to be associated with the successful commissioning of a waste-to-energy gasification system for Blue Paper in Strasbourg, France.
The facility is designed to process Refuse Derived Fuel (RDF), reject materials, and packaging waste, converting them into useful energy through a rotary kiln gasifier-based system. The plant operates with a thermal capacity of 24 MW, handling 6 TPH of waste.
A key outcome of the system is the generation of 30 TPH of steam at 16 barg, which is utilized within the paper manufacturing process, significantly improving overall plant energy efficiency and sustainability.
The system incorporates a high-temperature water tube boiler, followed by advanced dry flue gas cleaning, SCR (Selective Catalytic Reduction) for NOx control, and a low-temperature (LT) smoke boiler with economizer (ECO) for enhanced heat recovery.
